How it works

Payment is the authentication

  1. RequestYour agent calls an endpoint. Without payment it gets 402 Payment Required with the price and the accepted networks in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header.
  2. SignThe agent signs a gasless USDC authorization from its Circle Gateway balance and repeats the request with a PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header.
  3. ReceiveThe service does the work and returns 200 with the result. The receipt comes back in the PAYMENT-RESPONSE header.
